These precious gems are the product of dedication and passion from the Prince Alberico Boncompagni Ludovisi (and his Fiorano Estate in Lazio), whose avant-garde approach of organic agriculture and the use of a magical mold was way ahead of its time. His '70s, '80s, and '90s whites were a phenomenon for their ability to age, but became rarities as the prince was ever elusive and refused to release his wines. After tearing up his vineyards to ensure that his legacy would not be misrepresented, Ludovisi passed his private cellar to the iconoclastic Italian food and wine critic Luigi Veronelli, entrusting him to find the appropriate individuals who could keep his vision and discovery alive. This mission continues today, as the vintage wines have been left to Sergio by the late Veronelli, presenting him with the challenge of fulfilling the original promise to the Prince. (1) Finding a Gift: Browse the page and order online or select the gift of your choice. If you want to learn more about the wine(s) you are selecting or need assistance with anything, please call Tida Leonel at 212.473.2323 x114.

(2) Placing the Order: Once the gift is selected, please proceed to the checkout page by clicking order and follow the instructions to finish the order. Should you have any question please call John. Should you wish to order by phone, John will be available to process your order as well.

What if the gift is not available? Alternative wine selections with similar characteristics are available at identical price points. IWM has selected the wines with the bride and groom in mind and we will be happy to provide additional options.

(3) Card Inscription: All gifts will include a special note. Indicate what you would like in the 'to,' 'from,' and message areas of the card. Your selected words can also be e-mailed to Tida at tida@italianwinemerchants.com

(4) Gift Confirmation: We will notify the bride and groom as gift orders come in and they will receive a delivery from our New York store, where our wines are preserved in cellar conditions.
