Price: $39.50

Bright acidity propels this intense wine, yet its fine-grained tannins cling to the cheeks to blanket the palate with a textured, silky feel. This is a very elegant Chianti Classico that showcases Sangiovese’s finesse, rather than its raw power. Deriving from Lamole’s 17-acre, sandy-soiled Filetta vineyard, the grapes for this wine ferment in concrete, and the wine ages in oak casks for 15 months before being bottled.
