Description Sub Region

Aromatics of juicy red fruit, exotic spices, earth and river rocks lead to a muscular, nervy palate that explodes with mineral-inflected pure Pinot Noir fruit in this classic Burgundy that will reward authentic Burgheads. Blended from two separate 1er Cru vineyards, this wine’s name doesn’t contain the title of either. Perfect southeast placement on the slopes allows these Auxey Duresses grapes to ripen well and ultimately produce a serious, powerful wine that forces the drinker to reconsider all preconceived notions that they held regarding Auxey Duresses.
