The house flagship, Sori Ginestra, has received widespread critical acclaim. Originally documented in the 1800s, the historic vineyard plots southern exposure, in combination with an altitude of 300 meters, provides ideal sunlight throughout the early morning and afternoon hours. The manly, calcareous terrain is conducive to producing wines of remarkable structure and age worthiness. The wine is aged for 24 months in French oak, followed by one year of bottle age, and typically displays aromas and flavors of roses, tobacco, and licorice.

The Conterno Fantino estate began in 1982, when Claudio Conterno and Guido Fantino joined their expertise in the field and the cellar, respectively. Twelve years later they settled on a site in Monforte dAlba that still affords them an expansive view over the Alps. The pair remains at the forefront of innovation and advancement in quality winemaking, and they firmly believe that vigilant viticultural practices are the essence of great wine.
