Beginning in 1986, Corte Sant’ Alda’s owner Marinella Camerani dedicated herself to expressing the character of Veronese wines and revitalizing techniques that had been forsaken in the interest of modernization. Thus, this wine provides an example of the Old and New worlds working together to stellar effect. Marinella devotes her energy to producing classic Veronese wines; in her words: she is crafting “rich, intense wines, full of elegance and harmony.”
Since 1986, Corte Sant’ Alda has been in the capable hands of owner Marinella Camerani, who’s been dedicating herself to expressing the character of Veronese wines and revitalizing techniques that had been forsaken in the interest of modernization. Prior to Marinella’s arrival, the property was used as a weekend retreat and little interest was taken in the vineyards. From the beginning, Marinella’s goal has been to devote her energy to producing classic Veronese wines; in her words, she is crafting “rich, intense wines, full of elegance and harmony.” The results are spectacular: the wines rank with the best, with gorgeous fruit and a wonderful depth of flavor.
