An exotic interpretation of Brunello, Cupano's '06 may seem shy at first, but give it a little time and its spicy, sensuous aromatics of mocha, honey, smoke, cardamom and licorice will unfold. Rich, ripe fruit lays the foundation for this wine, but its silk charmeuse texture wraps those cherries and berries in a seductive sweep. Drinking best five years to twenty years from now.
