A beasty wine with a soft, purring side, the ’08 Le Migoua is mostly Mourvedre with a good heft of Cinsault and a touch of Grenache. The wildness of Provence has been captured in this Bandol that shows brambly, tart berries and ripe black cherries, lots of underbrush, charcoal, wood smoke and game. It’s a gorgeously feral wine, and after a couple of years in the cellar, it’ll drink to the end of the next decade.
