This Super Tuscan blend is a very modern combination of Merlot and Cabernet Franc from the trendy Toscana zone of Maremma. It has notes of cherry and spice, firm tannins and a bright acidity.

The philosophy of Toscana's Poggiomandorlo borrows from the Bordeaux tradition of incorporating estate wine into a blend whose makeup is determined by the characteristics of vintage and conditions in the vineyards. Non-interventionist and organic, Poggiomandorlo is located in Montalcino, and the wine is vinified under the guidance of esteemed oenologist Roberto Cipresso at Tenuta Oliveto.
