Adam Pinot Grigio 2014 750ml
Your eye may be struck by its kinetic surfer label, your wallet may appreciate its price, but IWM is willing to bet that your palate will love this fresh, zippy, seriously fun Pinot Grigio from Adam. This is no watered-down Pinot; it’s crisp, mineral laden, and kissed with ripe fruit; a lovely golden yellow flecked with cinnamon highlights give illustration to the uniqueness of this pure, fresh, stainless-steel-aged Pinot Grigio. Quaffable, mellow, and intensely perfumed, this true Friulian Pinot Grigio goes down delightfully, offering a lovely complement to a wide variety of summer foods--or as a simple sipper by itself.

Light, tangy and refreshing, this ’18 Chianti leaps from the glass in a profusion of youthful red and blue fruits, warm earth, violet petals, baking spices, and white pepper. Dusty tannins, electric acidity, and a subtle thrum of earth make this Chianti a food-friendly delight. This mono-varietal Sangiovese derives from compact red soils that are high in minerals; grapes ferment for 30 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel, and the wine ages for seven months in botti, followed by four months in bottle prior to release.

This velvety, food-friend Prosecco matches elegant minerality and delicate tropical fruits with delightful floral aromas in a fresh, charming sparkler. Straw yellow in color, this classic Prosecco offers persistent perlage, bright acidity, and chalky minerals. Deriving from estate- grown Prosecco grapes (a varietal previously called Glera), this Prosecco is vinified in the in the charmat, or tank method, in which the wine undergoes a secondary fermentation in bulk tanks and is bottled under pressure. This versatile, delicious Prosecco can serve as an aperitif, a complement to food, or a palate cleanser, making it one of IWM’s favorite go-to sparkling wines.
Tormaresca Calafuria Rosato 2016 750ml
A delicate rose petal pink in the glass, this ’16 Calafuria Rosato reflects its classic Mediterranean climate in its aromatics, charming palate, delightful balance, and unusual persistence. Juicy strawberries and plums dance with wildflowers, underbrush, citrus zest and licorice in this refreshing wine that culminates with a delicately bitter finish. The Negroamaro grapes for this wine derive from Tormaresca’s holdings in San Pietro Vernotico; grapes ferment and age in temperature-controlled stainless steel, and the wine rests in bottle for four months before release.
Scott Conant Ayla Pinot Grigio 2017 750ml
Honeyed citrus, crisp orchard fruits, white wildflowers, and lush tropical fruits waft from the glass of this delicate ’17 Pinot Grigio. Medium-bodied and zesty, this refreshing white layers its delicious fruits with elegant minerality, building to a clean finish. Perfect for aperitivi, this Pinot Grigio is also ideal for luncheon salads, roasted chicken and seafood. Deriving from a southwest-facing vineyard in a natural amphitheater the heart of the Gavi DOCG, the Cortese grapes are cryo-macerated, a process where the juice sits on the skins at an extremely low temperature prior to fermentation, which lasts 24 hours in stainless steel to enhance the fruit and other flavors. Fermentation lasts three weeks before the wine is aged for four months in steel and then in bottle for an additional four to six months. About 500 cases are produced each vintage.
