Crisp, fresh, and superbly textured, the complex Intense "Mag 15" wraps its juicy orchard fruits around a classic Champagne spine of pastry dough, white flower petals, toasted almonds, and fruit compote. Brisk acidity and persistent perlage fill the mouth, while lively fruits and subtle minerality propel the wine’s lingering finish. This non-vintage Champagne is a stunner that over-delivers on its modest pricing! A blend of 45% Pinot Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir, and 15% Chardonnay that derive from Damery, Bisseuil, and Chouilly, respectively, this Champagne is composed of 45% reserve wine, most aged in magnum under cork, and 55% 2015 base wine; after blending, this Champagne aged on the lees for three years in the winery’s ancient chalk caves before disgorgement and a final small dosage.

A.R. Lenoble is a unique Champagne house--indeed, it’s one of the great “insider” producers in Champagne, a region dominated by large, sprawling, corporate estates. Founded almost 100 years ago by Armand-Raphaël Graser, A.R. Lenoble remains independent and family owned, helmed by sister-and-brother team Anne and Antoine Malassagne, who are great-grandchildren of the winery’s founder. A.R. Lenoble owns just over 44 acres in some of Champagne’s prime regions: ten acres of Chardonnay in the grand cru village of Chouilly, fourteen acres of Pinot Noir in the premier cru village of Bisseuil, and almost five acres of Pinot Meunier in the Damery. One of the first Champagne houses to earn the “Haute Valeur Environnementale” certification, A.R. Lenoble employs natural, sustainable agriculture to ensure the healthiness of their vines, their lands, and the Earth.
