Ruggeri Corsini

Loredana Addari and Nicola Argamante, who both graduated in Agriculture and specialized in winegrowing and enology, decided to change their lives. They left their city jobs to buy a small farm business (which at the time only produced and sold its grapes) in Monforte d’Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, Cuneo.

It’s a family run business, owned by the two agronomists and Loredana’s brother, Lorenzo. The winery was given the name “Corsini” as it represents the ancient hamlet in Monforte d’Alba, made up of very old stone houses. Ruggeri stems from the maternal side of Nicola’s family. His mother strongly believed in Loredana and him, supported them financially, and helped them to make their dream come true.

Initially, only classic Langhe wines such as Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba and Barolo were produced. Later, a series of other wines were added including Red and White Langhe wines.

In 1996 the first 6000 bottles of Podere Ruggeri Corsini wines were produced and were mainly sold abroad. Starting in 1997, Corsini exported to the USA. The winery has since broadened its horizons to several other countries. Currently it is possible to buy Podere Ruggeri Corsini wines in the USA (main market), in Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Norway, Belgium, Denmark, Holland, Japan and obviously, Italy.
