A Note from Sergio
Happy Labor Day! Summer is over, and all hail fall! If you have kids, they're heading back to school; if you have a beach house, you're packing it up; if you've got a lawn, you're thinking about putting away the mower and taking up the rake. My Italian winemaker friends are eyeing their grapes with harvest in mind, and I'm thinking of fall foods, crisp weather, and the heart-warming bottles I'll open to celebrate the season's change.Today's Featured Sections Include:
Fall is a beautiful season for wine. Yet as good as it feels to crack into a familiar Rosso di Montalcino or Valpolicella on a clear autumn day, it feels even better to expand your palate and learn something new--like the heft of an Aglianico, the zing of a Montepulciano, or even the zip of a winter white like a Campanian Fiano. I created IWM's wine clubs to help clients learn about new wines, and today's I'm delighted to offer special pricing on six or twelve-month subscriptions for each of IWM's three wine clubs--just in time for fall wine-drinking!
This Labor Day, make the best from the weekend and summer's close, and do it with people you love, food that's delicious, and great wine that brings it all together!
