Villa Mangiacane

Housed in a renowned sixteenth-century villa situated in Chianti Classico, Villa Mangiacane is a magical estate spanning 740 acres of vineyards, olive groves and forests. Built by Cardinal Francesco Maria Machiavelli and owned by the aristocratic family of Mazzei for over three centuries, it was acquired by Glynn Cohen in 2001, when she initiated a period of revitalization dedicated to the production of quality wines and the celebration of art. The villa now operates not only as an estate that crafts fine artisanal Tuscan expressions, but also as a resort, cooking school, spa, and Tuscan home-away-from-home to IWM.
