The 2022 Les Charmes-Dessus shines with a pale lemon-yellow color and an elegant, refined manner that sets it apart from the village-level bottling. Jasper Morris awarded it 92–95 points, noting “a class which the straight bottling cannot aspire to,” while praising its broad base of pure white fruit. Allen Meadows scored it 91–94, describing a smoky layer over green apple, lemon rind, exotic tea, and a sleek, mineral-driven palate that is tightly wound and built for at least another decade of aging, with a peak drinking window starting around 2032. 

Château de Meursault is a historic Burgundy estate dating back to the 11th century, situated in the heart of Meursault on gently sloping, east-facing limestone and marl soils. Today, the domaine—under Olivier Halley’s stewardship—manages its vineyards meticulously, with each plot tended by the same vigneron throughout the year. Their winemaking philosophy emphasizes terroir purity, precise hand harvesting, and thoughtful aging in cellar conditions that highlight the site’s mineral complexity.
