This site, acquired by the family in the 1980s, offers a more muscular and powerful expression of Nebbiolo compared to the elegance of Monprivato. The Barolo from S. Stefano di Perno shows darker fruit, firmer tannins, and a brooding, earthy character that reflects the heavier soils and higher elevation of Monforte. Crafted exclusively from the ancient Michet clone of Nebbiolo, this wine originates from a select parcel within the renowned Monprivato vineyard in Castiglione Falletto.
