The 2015 Il Bruciato is a ripe and expressive vintage, blending Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. It opens with aromas of dark berries, plum, and cassis, layered with hints of spice, licorice, and tobacco. On the palate, it shows supple fruit, balanced tannins, and a polished texture, finishing with warmth and persistence. Approachable now but with enough depth to evolve gracefully in the short to medium term.
Antinori’s Guado al Tasso estate in Bolgheri is one of the flagship properties of the Tuscan coast, famous for crafting modern expressions of Bordeaux blends while retaining a Mediterranean identity. Il Bruciato, first produced in 2002, quickly became a benchmark for accessible yet elegant “Super Tuscan” reds, offering the pedigree of Guado al Tasso with a more approachable profile.
