Crushed almonds, freshly mown hay, wet river rocks, white wildflower petals, wild herbs, and grapefruit zest frame the juicy orchard and tropical fruits in this enveloping, elegant '16 Friulano. Beautifully balanced and very food-friendly, this medium-bodied white seamlessly melds its ripe fruit flavors with driving acidity, while cool mineral tones and bitter almond linger on the satisfying finish. Deriving from vineyards with marly soils, grapes ferment in temperature-controlled stainless steel, and the wine ages on the lees for six months in stainless steel before bottling.
