The 2019 Feytit-Clinet is a compelling and muscular expression of Pomerol. Aromas of black cherry, plum, cocoa, and crushed rocks rise from the glass, framed by sweet spices and a touch of violet. The palate is dense and concentrated, with velvety tannins wrapped around a dark, layered fruit core. Despite its richness, the wine retains excellent balance thanks to fresh acidity and mineral tension. The finish is long, savory, and persistent—a wine of both intensity and finesse that will reward long-term cellaring.

Château Feytit-Clinet is a rising star in Pomerol, located near some of the most illustrious names in the appellation. Since 2000, the Chasseuil family has managed the estate with renewed focus, emphasizing low yields, careful vineyard work, and meticulous vinification. The estate’s small size (just over 6.5 hectares) and gravel-clay soils rich in iron deposits lend themselves to powerful yet refined wines, primarily composed of Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Franc.
