The 2000 Blanc from Musar opens with deep golden hues and rich aromas of grilled pineapple, lemon peel, toasted nuts, honey, and almond. On the palate, it combines tropical fruit, citrus, light butterscotch, and saline minerality—textured, complex, and with enough freshness to express balance rather than just maturity.
Château Musar is Lebanon’s most iconic wine estate, located in the Bekaa Valley and founded by Gaston Hochar in the 1930s. It is celebrated for blending tradition, authenticity, and longevity—Musar’s whites are made from the indigenous varieties Obaideh and Merwah, vinified in oak, and aged patiently before release. The estate’s winemaking philosophy emphasizes minimal intervention, letting the vineyard, vintage, and cellar age narrate the wine’s journey.
