The 2019 vintage is a masterful balance of power and refinement. The blend (70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot) yields aromas of cassis, wild berries, violets, cedar, licorice, and graphite. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, seamless, and refined, with powdery tannins, succulent acids, and a perfumed finish. With broad critical acclaim—94 points, including top marks from Robert Parker’s William Kelley, Wine Advocate, James Suckling, and Wine Spectator—it showcases Pauillac purity and displays outstanding aging potential through 2025–2040 and beyond.
Château Duhart-Milon is a revered Fourth Growth from Pauillac, owned by the Rothschild family since 1962 and cultivated under the same rigorous standards as its prestigious neighbor, Château Lafite Rothschild. The estate consists of 70+ hectares planted to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot on gravelly, clay-limestone soils—creating a terroir ideally suited to crafting structured, elegant wines. Fermentation is managed parcel by parcel, and the wine is aged in 50% new barrels made onsite by the estate’s own cooperage.
