The 2010 Vigna d’la Roul is a powerful and structured Barolo. Aromas of iron, smoke, underbrush, tobacco, licorice, dried flowers, and dark red fruit emerge. On the palate it is rich, firm, and layered—grippy tannins and strong structure frame a core of red cherry, spice, and mineral tension that lingers on a long finish.
Podere Rocche dei Manzoni is a boutique Barolo estate in the Langhe, dedicated to producing expressive, terroir-driven Nebbiolo wines from named crus. Their “Vigna d’la Roul” is a special parcel vinified with care—hand harvesting, attentive sorting, extended maceration, and maturation in large oak casks. The estate’s philosophy leans traditional, favoring site clarity and structural integrity rather than over-extraction, and their wines often balance elegance with age-worthy architecture.
