Calling the Neive township home since the mid-nineteenth century, the Rivetti family has long roots in the Langhe. In the 1950s, Giuseppe Rivetti founded his estate, Fratelli Rivetti, in Bricco di Neive, near the land of Barbaresco great Bruno Giacosa, and in the late 1970s, Dante Rivetti assumed control of the estate, formalizing his leadership by changing the estate's name to its current form. These days, the Dante Rivetti estate is helmed by Ivan Rivetti, Dante's son, who uses sustainable agriculture to farm the estate's four vineyards and traditional practices to craft the estate's Moscato d'Asti, Barbera d'Alba, Barbaresco and other wines.
