Castello della Sala, part of the Antinori family’s historic estates, is nestled in the Umbrian hills near Orvieto and serves as the creative haven of winemaker Renzo Cotarella. Known for its intellectual and expressive wines, the estate focuses on white varieties and cool-climate reds planted on fossil-rich soils between 200–450 meters elevation.
