Christopher Deas, Italian Wine Merchants: "Delizioso - it is once again the perfect word to sum up this transporting giant. One sniff and it does send you to Tuscany in first class. It's is one of the more serious Rosso di Montalcino with fruit from the Canalicchio cru, as well as a percentage from the grand cru vineyard of Montosoli. In tasting this wine in a line-up of some of our favorite Rosso di Montalcino, we can say firsthand this is a wine that captures the generosity of the vintage.
