The 2018 Bélair-Monange is a masterful blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, delivering both power and elegance. Château Bélair-Monange, perched atop the limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion, is one of the most historic and prized estates on Bordeaux’s Right Bank. With roots dating back to Roman times, the estate was revitalized in 2008 by the Moueix family—owners of Château La Fleur-Pétrus and custodians of Pomerol royalty. Under Edouard Moueix’s direction, Bélair-Monange has entered a new golden era, combining centuries-old terroir with meticulous viticulture and restrained winemaking. The château’s vineyards, rich in clay and limestone, yield Merlot and Cabernet Franc of profound depth, minerality, and aging potential.
