The 2019 vintage opens with seductive aromas of wild plum, crushed rocks, violets, and graphite, evolving into flavors of dark cherry, licorice, and espresso on the palate. It is full-bodied yet exceptionally polished, with fine-grained tannins and a persistent, mineral-laced finish. Critically acclaimed with scores up to 96 points, this wine captures the balance of ripe fruit and freshness that defines great Right Bank Bordeaux. While approachable now with decanting, it has the structure to age gracefully for 15–20 years.
Château Tour Saint-Christophe is a rising star in Saint-Émilion, situated on the clay-limestone slopes of Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes. Since its acquisition by Peter Kwok in 2012, the estate has embraced meticulous vineyard management and modern vinification, blending traditional savoir-faire with contemporary precision. The 20-hectare vineyard is planted primarily to Merlot, with Cabernet Franc adding lift and structure. The château is now recognized for producing wines that offer outstanding value, depth, and site expression.
