The 2015 Rosé from La Blaque (Coteaux de Pierrevert) shows aromas of wild strawberry, peach skin, white flower, and a saline mineral thread. On the palate it is crisp and vivacious, with red berry fruit, citrus zest, herbal lift, and a refreshing, lingering mineral finish.
Domaine La Blaque is one of the leading estates in the Pierrevert (formerly Coteaux de Pierrevert) appellation in Provence, farmed organically and perched high on hillside vineyards around 500 m altitude. The estate is led by oenologists Gilles and Laurence Delsuc, who focus on purity, freshness, and expressive aromatics in a region influenced by both Mediterranean sun and alpine breezes. Their vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils, and they work with traditional Rhône/Provençal varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, and Vermentino—always aiming to preserve fruit clarity while respecting terroir. La Blaque’s wines are known for refreshing acidity, saline minerality, and an uplifting vivacity that speaks of their mountain‑coast environment.
