The 2012 Dominus opens with a lush and layered bouquet of black cherry compote, black raspberries, cassis, lavender, cedar and Asian spice.  On the palate it is full‑bodied yet remarkably refined, with polished tannins, incisive acidity and a core of dark earth, cocoa, licorice and graphite minerality.  The finish is long and seamless, revealing dark chocolate, tobacco leaf and subtle cedar, promising decades of ageing while already delivering beautiful complexity now.
