Soft and velvety, this '14 Cabernet Sauvignon showcases its ultra-ripe red and blue fruits, layering them with peppery spices, warm earth, pressed wildflower petals, toasted wood, and forest floor. Ripe tannins meld seamlessly with kinetic acidity as this full-bodied Cab Sauv glides to a satisfying, lingering finish. After handpicking, about 20% of the grapes dry for two months before pressing to intensify flavors and texture; grapes ferment for 25 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel, and the wine ages for 18 months in oak barrels.

The original Pane Vino & San Daniele has essentially precipitated the launch of an upscale "chain"of sorts, with numerous outposts located in towns throughout northern Italy.
