This 2022 Barbera from Bussia is intense ruby in color with bold aromas of blackcurrant, wild berries, and touches of spice and tobacco, rounded out by subtle oak influence. It’s medium to full‑bodied, with lively acidity holding together juicy fruit and savory layers. Rich enough for pairing with meats and hearty dishes, yet expressive and balanced enough to be enjoyed on its own. 

Giacosa Fratelli is a multi‑generational, family‑run winery based in Neive, Piedmont, with origins reaching back to 1895. They cultivate vineyard parcels in both Barolo, Barbaresco, and other Alba area sub‑zones, including the prestigious Bussia cru in Monforte d’Alba, which is famous for Nebbiolo. Their farming is organic (or nearly so), with an emphasis on soil expression, vineyard age, and minimal intervention.
