The 2020 Bianco opens with a deep straw‑gold hue and a fragrant bouquet of yellow peach, papaya, white flowers and vanilla, with a subtle mineral under‑current that hints at its coastal provenance.  On the palate, the wine is generous yet finely balanced: layers of melon, golden apple and lemongrass melt into a creamy texture, while fresh acidity and a saline minerality bring elegance and drive.  Mid‑palate nuance reveals faint notes of white pepper, green tea and crushed stone, leading into a long finish of citrus‑zest and chalky extract.  Crafted from hand‑harvested Sauvignon Blanc (with small portions of other whites), aged in a mix of French oak barrels and stainless tanks to retain freshness and complexity.  In 1.5 L format, the wine’s depth and presence are amplified—this is a white both sumptuous now and built to age gracefully for another decade.

Tenuta dell’Ornellaia is a landmark estate in Tuscany’s Bolgheri region, fashioned by the Antinori family and now part of the Frescobaldi group. The estate spans diverse vineyard parcels edging the Tyrrhenian Sea, planted on soil types ranging from marine sedimentary to volcanic and alluvial. Their viticultural philosophy emphasizes precision in the vineyard, very low yields, and terroir‑expression in every bottle.
