The 2014 Rabajà Riserva is a powerful, dense, and explosive expression of Nebbiolo—an embodiment of structure, tension, and depth . Critics have lavished praise: Antonio Galloni awarded it 96 points, calling it “powerful, dense and explosive, with tremendous intensity of fruit and structure” and “a powerful, towering wine endowed with massive structure and intensity to burn” . Wine Enthusiast gave a cellar-selection-worthy 97, noting aromas of forest floor, new leather, rose, and red berries, followed by flavors of juicy cherry, cranberry, star anise, and orange zest over firm acidity and noble tannins, projecting a drinking window of 2022–2034 . Monica Larner of Wine Advocate echoed that sentiment with 96 points and highlighted dark fruit, tobacco, tilled earth, black truffle, and dried fruit in an intense, structured, and fresh medium- to full-bodied profile with aging potential through 2045 . The wine is simultaneously brooding and elegant, encapsulating both power
Produttori del Barbaresco is a celebrated cooperative founded in 1958 by local growers under the guidance of the parish priest. Today, the Cantina unites over fifty Nebbiolo-producing families, who collectively tend more than 50 hectares of prized vineyards in the Barbaresco region . Embracing tradition, the winery employs classic methods—18 to 21 days of primary fermentation and up to three years of aging in large botti—to craft transparent and terroir-driven wines . Rabajà stands among their most revered single‑vineyard crus, positioned among the southern-facing slopes of Barbaresco alongside Asili and Pora, where the calcareous marl soils impart intensity, elegance, and structure .
