The 2022 Meursault “Les Narvaux” displays a clear, limpid yellow hue and a delicate bouquet of citrus—lemon foremost—packed with airy freshness and mineral poise. On the palate, it brings forward balanced texture: round, fruity, yet underpinned with refreshing acidity and fine minerality, all culminating in a delicately nuanced finish.  Critics note “deep fruit” and assertive character, highlighting Narvaux’s more powerful presence among Meursault village offerings, while still praising its delicious alignment and authenticity. 

Domaine Rémi Jobard springs from a lineage deeply rooted in Meursault, where Rémi, son of Charles and nephew to François Jobard, now commits fully to organic farming—achieving certification in 2011—and a restrained, terroir-first winemaking ethos. He blends barrique (with around 20% new oak) and large foudre aging, seeking transparency above all. As he says, everything “is to make sure that terroir is transparent and completely unobscured.” His approach yields wines that offer pure and sensual reflections of site and vintage.
