The 2020 “Trinoro” is composed of ~92% Cabernet Franc and 8% Merlot. It opens with aromas of dark fruit—black cherry and currant—accented by violet, spice, and subtle herb notes. Tenuta di Trinoro is a cult Tuscan estate founded by Andrea Franchetti, perched in the Val d’Orcia region where clay‑limestone soils and meticulous farming result in blockbusters grounded in site identity. Franchetti’s approach blends Bordeaux varietals (especially Cabernet Franc and Merlot) with Tuscan nuance, using small-lot vinification and extended aging in concrete and oak to craft wines that balance power, elegance, and longevity.
