The 2023 Bianco Trinoro is fermented in French barrels (~10 days) then aged in concrete for 9 months, producing an intense and vertical white. Aromatically it reveals grapefruit, pear, quince, jasmine, and hints of white flowers and exotic fruit. On the palate it is structured yet lifted, combining crisp acidity with mineral tension and a lingering finish that promises years of evolution.
Tenuta di Trinoro, founded by Andrea Franchetti, is a visionary Tuscan estate in Val d’Orcia that blends Bordeaux varietal ambition with a deep sense of place. The vineyards sit at high elevation on clay, limestone and gravel soils, and the team practices biodynamics with great care. Their style favors low yields, precise parcel selection, and aging regimes that support both power and finesse. Bianco Trinoro is a rarer departure from their red focus—made from pure Sémillon in micro‑parcels and released only when conditions are right to showcase a vertical, ageworthy white.
