The 2022 Crianza is a blend of roughly 65% Tempranillo and 35% Garnacha, aged for about 14 months in oak barrels. It shows black cherry, cassis, licorice, and spice with subtle smoke and toast notes, supported by ripe fruit, integrated wood, medium to full body, and firm but polished tannins.
Bodegas Muga, founded in 1932 in Haro (La Rioja Alta), is renowned for blending tradition with innovation: it produces its own barrels, performs gravity racking, and maintains a balance between classic Rioja styles and expressive fruit. Their El Andén de la Estación line was created to offer a gastronomic, modern Crianza that embodies the Muga house signature with freshness and approachability.
