This 2010 Gran Reserva blends primarily Tempranillo (with Garnacha, Mazuelo, Graciano) and opens with aromas of black cherry, mocha, licorice, and smoky earth. On the palate it’s expansive yet precise—silky tannins, balanced acid, dark fruit, graphite and mineral notes combining in a long, elegant finish.
Bodegas Muga is one of Rioja’s most respected family-owned estates, rooted in tradition but always evolving. They produce Prado Enea as their flagship Gran Reserva, only in outstanding years—meticulously vinified with small oak vats and long élevage, then aged for years before release. Their vineyards lie in Haro’s higher-altitude zones, which provide freshness and structural tension even in rich vintages.
