The 2022 Source des Roches Blanc unveils a pale-gold robe with a refined, crystalline presence. On the nose, delicate fragrances of grapefruit and honeyed beeswax intertwine with bright apple and lemon tones, offering clarity and poise. The palate is sapid and well-balanced, revealing fine weight and seamless tension that carry through to a pithy, mineral finish—a profile that earned a 90–92 points score from Vinous. Drinking from 2024 through 2032, it delivers both freshness and refined structure in harmonious balance.
Domaine Bruno Clair, established in 1979 by Bruno Clair in Marsannay-la-Côte, has grown into a benchmark of Côte de Nuits excellence—owning prestigious parcels such as Chambertin and Corton‑Charlemagne, while upholding purity and terroir expression. The Marsannay “Source des Roches” is a standout white, crafted from a tiny 0.80 ha site comprising parcels like Les Vaudenelles, Les Rosey, and Boivins, planted between 1980 and 1990. Situated on shallow, marl-limestone soils facing southeast, the fruit is cultivated under organic, low-intervention methods and vinified with direct pressing, indigenous yeast fermentation (about 40% new oak), and ~16 months aging in barrel.
